With this being the first week, go ahead and imagine yourself getting into a routine of reading your Bible and praying, making journal notes, walking and doing mobility exercises. You’re slowing down, you’re surrendering your plans to God, and you’re moving forward. This week, we are in Psalm 23. A familiar one to start. Praying for you as you go through these devotions, friend.

Remember your Mobility exercises are here: Mobility exercises. Working towards a deeper relationship with the Lord involves letting go of some of the things we think and believe about our bodies - that they are the way they are and there’s not much we can do about it, that they are past their prime, that moving feels bad so we shouldn’t do it. Sure, when we don’t feel great when we move, it can be disheartening, but think of it as a skill that you need to develop. Working out, walking, doing mobility exercises are important for our bodies to move well and to feel good while we do it. Don’t let how it feels now stop you from doing good things for it now, for now and for the future.
