You know what you’ve signed up for: 100 days of pursuing God and his peace through the disciplines of reading scripture, physical activity, devotions, and prayer

Specifically, each day you will be responsible for:

The more you adjust your days to include these practices, the more you will get out of it. My friend, do not start small - go all in! Do all of the practices daily and see how your heart and body change!


Exercise:

You can certainly keep on going with a workout program you have already started! If you are getting back to something you’ve given up doing, go for it!

When following a strength training program or some program with a specific physical goal, there are specific ways to do it, specific workouts to do and when to do them that matters. That’s not what this is. This is exercise to do because it needs to be done. So, just set your timer for the amount of time you’re dedicating to the workout (minimum 10 min including warm-up and stretch) and get to work on it. The God of the Universe created these bodies to be in motion - for their own health, for the health of our entire body and all the systems that are intertwined (yes, they all impact the others!), we need to move. So move with intention, move with gratitude, and praise your God!

Tips:

  • if you aren’t sure what an exercise is, do one that is familiar

  • if you need help figuring something out, contact me

  • don’t over-think it (that’s how you get stuck!)

  • can’t bother with a timer or timed/numbered exercises? Take this approach: “Go until you can’t, rest until you can.” Simple!
